Big Day of Giving 2025

Big Day of Giving 2025 on May 1 is Approaching!
Early Giving Begins April 17
For 28 years, CCHAT has helped thousands of children with hearing loss find their voices.
CCHAT opened its doors in 1996 with the singular mission of teaching children who are deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) to develop the necessary listening and spoken language (LSL) skills required for lifelong success. Now in its 28th year, CCHAT has evolved to become the premier LSL program for children with hearing loss in the greater Sacramento area. The program serves hundreds of students each year between its Rancho Cordova campus, mainstream services in local school districts and hearing screenings throughout the region. CCHAT envisions a future where the educational, social, and vocational success of these children is not limited by their hearing loss.
This miracle would not happen without your generosity!

What Is Big Day of Giving?
This special event is a 24-hour online giving challenge on May 1 that brings the local community together to help raise money and shine a spotlight on all the great work nonprofits are doing in our region.
CCHAT's 11th Big Day of Giving campaign focuses on the listening, spoken language and literacy skills that students develop while enrolled in our program. Research shows that children who are deaf and hard of hearing are at risk for serious reading deficiencies, but children with hearing loss who acquire spoken language have a much easier time learning to read and write, which is critical to learng in all academic areas. Children with hearing loss who learn to listen and talk, perform at levels comparable to their hearing peers.
Our students depend on these essential services, and your generosity truly changes lives.
We can't do it without you!
For 28 years, CCHAT has given hope to families of children with hearing loss. Please continue to support CCHAT children. Let's ensure these amazing kids have all the tools necessary for the Brightest of Futures!
