A gift to CCHAT Sacramento ensures that children who are deaf and hard of hearing have access to listening and spoken language education for generations to come.
Children’s Choice for Hearing and Talking Sacramento (CCHAT) opened its doors in 1996 with one mission: teaching children who are deaf and hard of hearing to develop the listening and spoken language skills required for lifelong success.
Originally a single classroom of 12 students, CCHAT has grown into the premier listening and spoken language program in the greater Sacramento area — serving hundreds of children each year through early intervention, education, and community outreach.
Your legacy gift helps ensure that our mission never stops.
— CCHAT SACRAMENTO MISSION

One of the easiest ways to leave a legacy. Simply name CCHAT as a beneficiary in your will, trust, or estate plan specifying a dollar amount, a percentage, or a remainder of your estate. Your attorney will need CCHAT’s legal name and Tax ID number (listed below).
You don’t need to change your will or trust. Simply contact your plan administrator and name CCHAT as a full or partial beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), life insurance policy, or similar account. It’s one form, and it makes a meaningful difference.
Property can be gifted to CCHAT through your will or trust. We encourage donors with real estate intentions to connect with our team early in the planning process so we can understand your wishes and ensure your gift is received and honored as intended.
Charitable Remainder Trusts and Charitable Gift Annuities can generate income and tax benefits for you or your loved ones today, while ultimately delivering a meaningful gift to CCHAT. We recommend speaking with a professional advisor to explore which option fits your situation.
Planned gifts provide important tax benefits, and we’re happy to discuss your options confidentially. Reach out to learn more about how your legacy can support children who are deaf and hard of hearing in our community.
