Jill Brown

Jill Brown has over 20 years’ experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students. She graduated from MacMurray College in 2000 with a bachelor’s in deaf education and graduated from Concordia University in 2015 with a master’s in Curriculum and Instruction: Technology & E-Learning. Jill has primarily been an itinerant teacher serving deaf children in the mainstream setting. She brings a wealth of experience in both auditory verbal therapy approaches and in utilizing American Sign Language with her instruction. She joined the CCHAT team in fall 2022 as a Mainstream Support Specialist.
Jill has also spent the last five years in higher education, serving as an academic director and professor for Southeastern University. She loves to spend time with her husband and daughters and is an amazing cook and baker.
