Lisa Marwaha, Au.D.
Chairperson, Lisa joined the Board in 2016. She has a long history of caring and advocating for people with hearing loss. She received her B.S. in Speech Language Pathology in 1990 from Texas Christian University and her M.S. in Audiology in 1992 from the University of Washington. She furthered her education by pursuing her Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) in 2002 from the University of Florida. Lisa worked at as Audiologist at CCHAT from 2010-2016. Working at CCHAT was an amazing experience and strengthened her belief in the school's value for our community and for hearing impaired children and their families. Prior to starting at CCHAT, she helped develop and launch the cochlear implant program for Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento. Lisa has been fortunate enough to have worked in many different settings including medical/hospital (Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento), manufacturing (Phonak), academic (University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center) and private practice (Audiological Consultants of Atlanta and CSG Better Hearing Center). Lisa loves spending time with her husband and their children.
